Having been raised in an Italian-American household, I was always comfortable in the kitchen, whether preparing American, European or Asian meals. However, I had never attempted what I would consider Indian-type cuisine. When I received The Spicy Gourmet Spice Blending Collection as a gift, I was hesitant but curious. This was a completely new cooking adventure. I tried several recipes from the recipe booklet, and realized that grinding and blending these exotic spices was fun!

Now, less than four months later, I can confidently say that I have successfully expanded my culinary repertoire. I have found additional recipes in food magazines and on the Internet that I previously would not have attempted. Additionally, I am very choosy about the quality of ingredients I use when preparing meals for my family, and feel good knowing that these spices are free trade and organic. I highly recommend The Spicy Gourmet product to anyone who enjoys creating in the kitchen.
